There are so many reasons to join the 2026 UNA-USA Advocacy Summit - UNA-USA's most important advocacy moment of the year! This is a chance for you to deepen your understanding of the United Nations, especially in the context of crisis and humanitarian need, and then take real action as an advocate to make a lasting impact in your community, country, and world. Not only that, but you will be able to work on professional development as you refine transferable skills and develop your personal portfolio of knowledge and abilities. You'll be able to connect with like-minded individuals across the country and enjoy exclusive opportunities to network with representatives from UN agencies.

The fee covers UNA-USA swag and meals, including breakfast, lunch, attendance to our exclusive congressional reception, refreshments for all in-person days, and scheduling your congressional meetings.

Breakfast and lunch are provided by UNA-USA, so participants are expected to cover their evening meals independently in addition to lodging and travel fees.

We were thrilled to announce that we had secured a discounted rate ($339.00/night, all double occupancy at the Hilton for your stay during the 2026 Advocacy Summit. The deadline to book for the special rate was Saturday, May 30th. You can still book accommodations using the following link.

In the initial application, we asked for those interested to express desire in receiving financial assistance. By this time, you should've received a response from us on whether or not you received a stipend. Unfortunately, we have limited funds and cannot offer everyone a scholarship.

Registration for Advocacy Summit closes on Friday, May 22 at 9:30 a.m. ET. Failure to register by the deadline will result in your spot being offered to the next advocate on the waiting list. 

We are not offering refunds for this summit.

Please plan to wear business casual attire for Monday. On Tuesday, our Lobby Day, we ask that you wear your UNA-USA shirt, which will be available to in-person attendees, or business casual again. Examples include slacks and a business jacket over your UNA t-shirt or a skirt and a cardigan or business jacket over your UNA t-shirt.

Advocacy, specifically meeting with our Members of Congress, is one of the most IMPORTANT actions we can take. By bringing the need for full UN funding to the attention of congressional offices, we are giving a voice to the voiceless. After all, UNA-USA is a movement of Americans who believe that our interests and values can best be advanced by standing with the planet’s only truly universal institution: The United Nations. We stand up for the UN, so the UN can keep standing up for the world. That’s why your presence at the US Capitol is critical.
